摘要: Crack propagation of glass-alumina functionally graded materials prepared by a novel freeform fabrication method was investigated. Pores were intentionally introduced partial decomposition poly vinyl alcohol gel. Preferential distribution pores adjacent the alumina particles is confirmed due to integrated liquid-phase sintering process, especially migration activated interfaces towards equilibrium state. and directly observed scanning electron microscopy. Cracks propagate through weakly bonded which finally cause glass matrix fracture. However, have little effect on crack propagation.
