摘要: Abstract High-resolution vacuum ultraviolet carbon dioxide photoabsorption cross sections are required for modeling airglow emissions from the Martian and Venusian atmospheres photochemical models of those atmospheres. We report section measurements on CO 2 at 295 195 K between 106.1 118.7 nm a spectral resolution 0.005 nm. Significant deviations results previous, lower-resolution apparent, particularly in regions sharp structure. Temperature dependence is evident throughout region, being especially pronounced wavelengths greater than 113 nm.
