摘要: Moral development in maltreated and nonmaltreated children was examined by coding child compliance noncompliance behaviors a mother-child interaction during cleanup situation that followed semistructured free play. Features of compliance/noncompliance involve shift from reliance on external controls to internal mechanisms, thereby reflecting internalization the maternal agenda. Differences maltreating versus comparison mothers' use control strategies (power-assertive inductive techniques) their relations were examined. Eighty-nine dyads participated; approximately half (n = 46) had documented histories maltreatment remaining 43) nonmaltreated, demographically similar children. Maltreated divided into two subgroups: physically abused neglected. Compared with children, found exhibit less internalization, whereas neglected displayed significantly more negative affect. No differences between groups for strategies. However, differed variables predicted internalization. A lower level affect linked joy The findings suggest both behavioral affective moral development, differential effects based type maltreatment. clinical implications children's self are discussed.
