摘要: We have identified a major Herbig-Haro flow, HH 777, that is bursting out of the IC 1396N cometary cloud core. Near- and mid-infrared images reveal very red object embedded in center core, located on symmetry axis large 777 suggesting this likely driving source. The projected separation working surface from source 0.6 pc. Additionally, 0.4 pc to east flow axis, there faint, previously known (HH 594) may be part counterflow. It thus appears we are seeing blowout parsec-scale into surrounding H II region. study numerical simulations jet breaking neutral photoionized medium, reproduce main features flow.
