摘要: The concept of using short fragments proteins for immunization is a logical extension the demonstration, more than 20 years ago, that most viruses protective activity normally associated with only one constituent proteins. During 1960s, it was shown immunizing measles, influenza, rabies, vesicular stomatitis, and other lipid-containing surface projections clearly observable by electron microscopy. With exception those from stomatitis virus, isolated in eliciting neutralizing antibody lower when they were attached to virus particles. It soon became apparent, however, could be increased restoring configuration possessed forming part particle.
