摘要: Understanding the fate of anthropogenically introduced copper in sediments is important to comprehend biogeochemical processes; consequently, beneficial utilization Cu-rich materials can be proposed (e.g. soil amendment). Therefore, we address behavior and other metals at liquid-solid interface different grain sizes lake sediments. Initially, sediment fractions were characterized for mineralogy (XRD), chemical structure (FTIR), physicochemical parameters (mainly pH, cation exchange capacity, electric conductivity), organic content, composition (AAS). Then, solutions varying Cu concentrations added fractions; sorption experiment chosen according exchangeable cations each fraction. A desorption by synthetic root exudate was followed. The parameters, functional groups, noted before after two experiments. Cu, Ca, Mg, K, Na also studied. had similar structure, yet metal contents different. showed that surface Ca embedded Mg main exchanged with as shown linear logarithmic trends, respectively. copper-sediment interaction mainly occurred interface. Finally, able restore part initial sediments, indicating on various an insignificant influence desorption.
