摘要: Changes in film composition and characteristics that occur during and/or immediately after the application of latex paints on porous inorganic substrates were investigated. Gas chromatography (GC) thermal analysis among techniques used for this purpose. The changes coalescing agent binder content determined by GC thermogravimetric-analysis, respectively, glass transition temperature differential scanning calo rimetry. It was found type substrate could significantly affect paint (pigment volume concentration, coalescent level) formation process.
