摘要: Abstract The synthetic fibers in a fire hose are specially oriented so as to minimize the jerk when is suddenly pressurized – at other fiber orientations would either extend abruptly or shorten abruptly. This one example of magic angle that separates different response directions deformation mode some driving mechanism varied. Here we investigate angles for winding around tube with an otherwise rubbery matrix by providing hyperelastic analysis. While pressurization well known this regard, also consider swelling. Magic orientation considered axial and channel constriction.
