摘要: Abstract Using native North American parasitoid species (Hymenoptera: Scelionidae) that often unsuccessfully attack the eggs of invasive brown marmorated stink bug Halyomorpha halys (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae), we assessed variation in traits may determine parasitoids’ ability to adapt host by either exploiting or avoiding H. (acceptance, developmental success). We also induce egg abortion, which contribute biological control invaded areas. The first set experiments evaluated intra- and interspecific using standardized laboratory tests with iso-female lines Telenomus podisi Trissolcus euschisti included matching detailed behavioural observations acceptance outcomes. In a second experiments, how abortion induction affect levels indigenous species. examined broader sample parasitoids emerged from field collections masses an north Podisus maculiventris region newly halys. Results showed high among parasitoids, but offspring development success was almost zero. due unsuccessful parasitism very low varied only for T. podisi. never observed increases above natural levels, even two (T. podisi) were oviposit abort experiments. conclude while there be some physiological parameters mediating does not appear significant success. Moreover, current impact via is likely low.
