摘要: This chapter reviews the cellular and molecular biology of hepatocyte lineage generation from stem cells, particularly, early steps activation expansion. Hepatic parenchymal cells (hepatocytes cholangiocytes) in adult animals are mitotically quiescent under physiological conditions. Both types live long absence trauma or toxicity. However, liver is frequently exposed to both physical potent hepatotoxins, unexpected loss hepatocytes cholangiocytes not uncommon. Perhaps, because this situation, maintenance function necessary preserve life organism, several mechanisms have evolved replace hepatocytes. Unlike most tissues, that remain after cell able proliferate quickly generate additional copies a deficit even increase hepatic loss. Additionally, when residual cannot loss, new lineages can be generated cells.
