摘要: Comparative field studies on the management of fire blight were conducted in California Asian and Bartlett pear using single-bactericide, mixture, rotation treatments selected compounds. Treatment efficacy was evaluated based natural occurrence disease or after inoculation with Erwinia amylovora. Kasugamycin at 100 mg/liter demonstrated similar higher pre- post-infection activity than industry standards, streptomycin oxytetracycline. Phytotoxicity caused by kasugamycin observed only when five six sequential weekly applications done. In a six-spray program including three bactericides (copper, kasugamycin, oxytetracycline), each being used twice, phytotoxicity minor. Baseline sensitivity concentrations for established growth 376 isolates E. amylovora from California. Values lowest concentration where reduction nutrient agar ranged 3.5 to 18.3 mg/liter, mean value 8.7 mg/liter. ≥95% inhibition 6.9 46.7 18.5 These inhibitory values those The vitro all compounds highly dependent medium assay. also pH significantly 5.1 7.3. With planned registration United States, represents first new, effective bactericide managing over 40 years.
