摘要: Abstract Dark matter (DM) as a thermal relic of the primordial plasma is increasingly pressured by direct and indirect searches, while same production mechanism in decoupled sector much less constrained. We extend standard treatment freeze-out process to such scenarios perform precision calculations annihilation cross-section required match observed DM abundance. demonstrate that difference canonical value this ‘thermal cross-section’ generally sizeable, can reach orders magnitude. Our results directly impact interpretation searches hidden scenarios.
