摘要: Abstract The antioxidant system in semen is composed of enzymes, low-molecular weight antioxidants and seminal plasma proteins. Loss enzymatic activity superoxide dismutase (SOD) during preservation may cause insufficient defense boar spermatozoa. aim this study was to isolate characterize SOD molecular forms from spermatozoa describe changes sperm at 16 °C. Sperm extracts were prepared fresh or diluted used for purification measurement. Ion-exchange chromatography gel filtration purify forms. DDC (40%). urea treatment 30 kDa protein with maximum 20 °C 10. Enzymatic 35%, 80% 2-mercaptoethanol 15%. antigenic determinants isolated similar each other. Susceptibility increased storage, but differences extenders statistically non-significant.
