摘要: Photonic crystals may support the propagation of surface waves, provided that they are properly terminated. An additional grating like-layer facilitate coupling waves to outgoing propagating leading enhanced transmission and directionality beam. This work investigates demonstrates how proper design layer provides control over beam shape emission angle. We also demonstrate both experimentally theoretically, a single bilayer dielectric structure allows for collimation Gaussian incident beam, while system multiple cascading bilayers can sustain large distances.
