摘要: The primary objective of the present study was to assess effects vitamin and mineral premix (VMP) withdrawal from diets 30 60 days ahead slaughter on carcass meat quality Holstein Friesian steers. A total 45 animals at 16 17 months age were used selected divided into three experimental groups: control group (fed with a diet VMP), VMP 30 days (VMP30 group), (VMP60 group). Meat samples taken 24 h postmortem 13th rib section evaluated Longissimus dorsi thoracis (LT) muscle. After slaughter, yield drip loss, cooking thawing shear force traits determined. pH color parameters measured 24, 48, 72, 96, 120, 144 h postmortem. fatty acid composition in section’ adipose tissue hot cold weights, chilling loss not affected by diet. Withdrawal did have any significant ultimate pH, force, color. Additionally, dry matter, crude protein, ash, fat contents, moisture-protein ratio samples, profiles VMP30 VMP60 treatments. It concluded based finding could be withdrawn safely without negative feedlot may reduce feeding costs environmental damages generated animal breeding systems.
