摘要: The objective of this study is to assess the therapeutic importance surgical castration, adjuvant hormonal treatment and lymphadenectomy in endometrial stromal sarcoma (ESS). A retrospective multicentric search was performed. Clinicopathologic data were retrieved from cases that confirmed be ESS after central pathology review. protocol approved by Ethical Committee. histopathologically 34 women, but follow-up available only 31 women. Surgical (n=31) included hysterectomy with or without bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (BSO) 23 out (74%) 8 (26%) cases, respectively. Debulking surgery performed 6 (19%). Stage distribution as follows: 22 stage I, 4 III 5 IV. Women I disease recurred (18%) cases. Among women undergoing BSO, 3 15 (20%) 1 7 (14%) relapsed, stages III–IV receiving not, (75%) respectively (differences=55.0%, 95% CI=−6.8–81.2%). Kaplan–Meier curves show comparable recurrence rates for when compared treated treatment. Furthermore, taking hormones at diagnosis have a better outcome not Three (9%) patients had systematic whereas lymph node sampling. In one case, obvious nodal encountered presentation. Isolated retroperitoneal occurred (3%) all (13%) recurrences. This single woman later also developed lung abdominal metastases. Leaving nodes situ does appear alter clinical ESS.
