Parity violation in atomic cesium and alternatives to the standard model of electroweak interactions

摘要: Abstract We study the implications of recent observation a parity violation in atomic cesium. After discussion uncertainties associated with physics calculations we derive conservative bounds for weak charge Q W . These are used to put constraints on alternatives standard electroweak model, involving an “extra U(1)” gauge group. analyze possibility that extra boson might be very and give, as by-product, typical range momentum transfer explored experiments.
