摘要: KAR L., AND BERNHARD, W. A. Electron Gain and Loss Radicals Stabilized on the Purine Pyrimidine of a Cocrystal Exhibiting Base-Base Interstacking: ESR-ENDOR XIrradiated Adenosine:5-Bromouracil. Radiat. Res. 93, 232-253 (1982). The predominant free radicals trapped in cocrystals adenosine:5-bromouracil X-irradiated at 12?K were identified by spectroscopy radical reactions followed upon annealing to 480?K. dominant electron abstraction addition products stabilized bases are observed be bromouracil 7r-cation adenine rcation 7r-anion. formation an anion is inferred from presence formed deuterium C6 higher temperatures. Above 40?K appears decay recombination reduced undetectable levels - 170?K. Both ir-ions also within same temperature range. 200?K hydrogen adducts bases. Experiments using partially deuterated indicate that H-adducts via both protonation respective anions. Two sugar residue detectable temperatures above 200?K, but these may present much lower results presented here question generally accepted hypothesis that, purine:pyrimidine stacking interactions, holes predominantly transferred purines while electrons pyrimidines.
