摘要: Objectives: Although African Americans report poorer self-rated health (SRH) than Whites, few studies have explored what factors are associated with SRH in this population. Our study described the characteristics and behaviors of a sample adult church members according to status. Design: Cross-sectional. Setting: 74 Methodist Episcopal churches South Carolina. Participants: 1077 (99% American). Main Outcome Measures: Self-reported physical activity, fruit vegetable consumption, fat- fiber-behaviors, perceived stress, presence chronic conditions, objectively measured body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, blood pressure.
