摘要: The flight-and-soaking movement of granules in a rotary dryer gives rise to intermittent drying conditions. An approximate method is presented here for predicting the influence alternating conditions on continuous curve slowly materials. It assumed that periodicity can be characterized by mass transfer coefficient, proportional , where td and tr are durations resting periods, respectively. model agrees roughly with rigorous numerical solutions diffusion equation. also substantiated experimental results from fertilizer bed pulsating air flow. Literature data wheat agree predictions made model.
