摘要: Fouling refers to the undesirable attachment of organic molecules and microorganisms submerged surfaces. It is an obstacle purification shale gas produced water currently without effective solution due highly contaminated nature water. Here, we demonstrate direct vapor application a robust zwitterionic coating variety substrates. The remains unprecedentedly hydrophilic, smooth, effectively antifouling in extremely high salinity solutions (with salt concentration 200 000 ppm). fouling resistance assessed rapidly quantitatively with molecular force spectroscopy-based method corroborated using quartz crystal microbalance system dissipation monitoring. Grazing angle attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared used combination X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, atomic microscope, situ spectroscopic ellipsometry lend insight into underlying mechanism for exceptional stabili...
