摘要: Abstract The microbial changes and the chemical fate of oil in an intertidal sediment were followed after experimental spill. In order to test effect different treatments on biodegradation stranded a basic design four field sites was established. Oil contamination sediments resulted initial decrease bacterial numbers both total heterotrophs hydrocarbon-degrading bacteria by marked growth. No agreement between degradation rates estimated basis mineralization 14C-hexadecane counts could be observed. concentration oiled did not vary considerably during period ten months. results obtained this study for untreated dispersant treated plots show any enhancement employed.
