摘要: Global patterns of development suggest that as more projects are initiated, business will need to find acceptable measures conserve biodiversity. The application environmental offsets allows firms combine their economic interests with the environment and society. This article presents results a multi-stakeholder analysis related design principles, policies, regulatory processes, using large infrastructure context. indicate was primarily interested in direct other compensatory measures, known internationally indirect offsets, acquit management obligations. In contrast, sector argued highly principled scientifically robust programs should be implemented maintained for enduring protection. Stakeholder consensus stressed importance registers commensurate monitoring enforcement. Our findings provide instructive insights into countervailing views policy stakeholders.
