摘要: Long-term variations in solar radiation at Earth's surface (S) can affect our climate, the hydrological cycle, plant photosynthesis, and power. Sustained decreases S have been widely reported from about year 1960 to 1990. Here we present an estimate of global temporal by using longest available satellite record. We observed overall increase 1983 2001 a rate 0.16 watts per square meter (0.10%) year; this change is combination decrease until 1990, followed sustained increase. The global-scale findings are consistent with recent independent observations but differ sign magnitude previously ground observations. Unlike stations, satellites uniformly sample entire globe.
