摘要: Objective: Malignant transformation of mature cystic teratomas (MCT) the ovary is extremely rare. There are no established criteria diagnosis before surgery for carcinoma arising from MCT ovary. Thus, we analyzed retrospectively tumor size and preoperative values markers in patients with investigated possibility diagnosis. Methods: This was a retrospective case series 278 Data were obtained hospital charts pathology registry. Average (greatest diameter) determined by findings both MRI ultrasound examination. Results: seen five (11%) among those whose ≥ 10 cm diameter, four (23%) pretreatment serum SCC level 2.0 ng/ml, two (13%) over 60 years age (2%) on one side. Mean significantly higher than benign MCT. Conclusions: We conclude that old who have unilateral value ≤ ng/ml tumors may be high-risk group malignant transformation.
