Temperature Dependence of the Optical Activity of Pure and Deuterated Rochelle Salt Crystals

摘要: Temperature dependence of the optical rotatory power (p) along axis pure and deuterated Rochelle salt single crystals has been given. Three phases both were examined found to be optically active. The relation between spontaneous electrogyration (ρ s ) polarization (P can described by ρ oc P 2 . Moreover, antipolar domains ferroelectric rotation twin-type not occurring in enantiomorphic form, contrast those other crystals, e.g., TGS-type Pb 5 Ge 3 O 1
