摘要: We report a case of ascending aortic aneurysm repair and redo valve replacement with bioprosthesis 44 years after Starr-Edwards metal caged-ball prosthesis. The patient presented moderately stenotic 50-mm on routine follow-up transthoracic echocardiography. replaced the at time as wished to stop anticoagulation therapy. Intraoperatively, we found that cloth covering cage was nearly completely destroyed.
