摘要: Prior family studies predominantly treated parenting behavior as corresponding to socialization, which is in fact a multifaceted concept. In the present study, two socialization constructs, processes and practices, were simultaneously investigated for their relative effects on adolescent children’s development of internalizing externalizing problems. Data analysis collected from sample 223 Chinese parent-child dyads (mother=179, boys= 124; child mean age= 16.7, SD= 2.16) hierarchical linear regression models employed examine relationships. Results showed that both positive effective practices predictive less problems children, but former was more pronounced than latter. More importantly robust resumed after inclusion interaction term by processes, lends support conditionality conflation moderating effect indicating functions potent home environment characteristic low shows convergence context high processes. Implications findings educational human future research directions are also discussed.
