Islam and Gender in the Thought of a Critical-Progressive Muslim Scholar-Activist: Ziba Mir-Hosseini

摘要: This article highlights the scholarly contribution of Iranian-born Muslim scholar-activist Ziba Mir-Hosseini to academic field gender and Islam. In first part, Mir-Hosseini's thought is positioned within larger processes shifting loci authority normativity in contemporary Islamic discourses, particularly with reference emergence what will here be termed critical-progressive scholar-activists.
