摘要: Much of the current excitement surrounding nanoscience is directly connected to promise new nanoscale applications in cancer diagnostics and therapy. Because their strongly resonant light-absorbing light-scattering properties that depend on shape, noble metal nanoparticles provide a powerful tool for innovative light-based approaches. Nanoshells—spherical, dielectric core, gold shell nanoparticles—have been central development photothermal therapy past several years. By manipulating nanoparticle researchers can tune optical resonance nanoshells any wavelength interest.
