摘要: While the majority of malignant rectal neoplasms are adenocarcinomas, and anal malignancies squamous cell carcinomas, other less frequent histologic subtypes encountered in rectum anus. They include carcinoid tumors, lymphoma, anorectal melanoma, neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) rectum, vascular lesions, its variants, sarcomatous including gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) leiomyosarcoma Kaposi’s sarcoma. These common histiotypes will undoubtedly be clinical practice deserve mention. Due to their rarity, these tumors frequently pose a challenge with diagnosis, staging, pathology, management, follow-up.
