The life histories of some Plecoptera and Ephemeroptera in a southern Ontario stream

摘要: The life cycles of 4 species stonefly and 11 mayfly are described, based upon the flight season adults measurements nymphs collected at all seasons from Speed River. It is shown that they fit into but one categories cycle have been described for stream insects in Europe, where more than same genus coexist there usually a marked difference timing their histories.
