摘要: A preliminary assessment of the reach envelope and field vision (FOV) for a subject wearing Mark III space suit was requested use in human-machine interface design Science Crew Operations Utility Testbed (SCOUT) vehicle. The view two suited unsuited subjects were evaluated while seated vehicle using 3-dimensional position data collected during series reaching motions. Data interpolated displayed orthogonal views cross-sections. Compared with conditions, medio-lateral not strongly affected by suit, whereas vertical antero-posterior inhibited suit. Lateral FOV reduced approximately 40 deg. techniques used this case study may prove useful providing new means developing displaying envelopes.
