摘要: In this study, bismuth oxyhalide (BiOXs (XCl, Br, I)) semiconductors were prepared by a simple solvothermal method, with ethanol serving as solvent and series of tetrabutylammonium halide surfactants halogen sources. Under identical synthetic conditions, BiOBr was more readily constructed into regular flower-like hierarchical architectures. The photocatalytic properties the materials studied monitoring degradation rhodamine B (RhB), visible light absorption, colorless salicylic acid (SA). It found that both RhB SA rapidly degraded on surface BiOBr. BiOCl rather active for RhB, but ineffective toward SA. However, neither nor could be effectively in case BiOI. Further experiments such UV-visible spectroscopy detection OH O2(-) radicals suggest electronic structure BiOX photocatalysts is responsible difference their activities.
