摘要: On 12 October 1998, it was the 25th anniversary of Man computer Interactive Data Access System (McIDAS). that date in 1973, McIDAS first used operationally by scientists as a tool for data analysis. Over last 25 years, has undergone numerous architectural changes an effort to keep pace with changing technology. In its early significant technological breakthroughs were required achieve functionality needed atmospheric scientists. Today is challenged new Internet-based approaches access and display. The history impact McIDAS, along some lessons learned, are presented here.
