摘要: Fourth instars of Culex quinquefasciatus (Say) (Diptera: Culicidae) were selected with a recombinant bacterial strain synthesizing the mosquitocidal proteins from Lysinibacillus sphaericus (Bin) and Cry11Ba Cyt1Aa Bacillus thuringiensis. Selection was initiated in Generation 1 concentration 0.04 μg/ml, which rose to maximum selection 8.0 μg/ml 14, followed by an unexpected, rapid increase mortality 15. Subsequently, 0.8 μg/ml determined be survivable. During this same period, resistance nearly 1,000-fold (by 12) declined 18.8-fold 19. Resistance remained low fluctuated between 5.3 7.3 up 66. The cross-resistance patterns interactions among component analyzed identify possible causes unusual pattern evolution. Poor activity mid-range concentrations lower-than-expected synergistic identified as potential sources early resistance. These findings should considered development genetically engineered strains intended control nuisance vector mosquitoes.
