摘要: Five bacterial isolates were screened for resistance to organotin compound, i.e. tributyltin chloride (TBTC) up 2 mM. The optimum pH, temperature and salinity the growth of found be 7, 28°C 2.5%, respectively. tested survival tolerance heavy metals (mercury, cadmium zinc) co-resistance antibiotics viz. ampicillin, kanamycin, rifampicin, streptomycin, penicillin, chloramphenicol, tetracycline, nalidixic acid neomycin. Although our earlier study reported that these five strains are different species Pseudomonas, present 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis revealed all Pseudomonas aeruginosa. One P. aeruginosa strain 25W could grow in mineral salt medium with 2 mM TBTC as a sole source carbon survive 5 mM TBTC. In presence there was comparable up-regulation 45 kDa protein cell extract isolate indicating involvement certain enzymes resistance.
