摘要: Conjugate mixed convection with buoyancy assisted laminar flow in the entrance region of a vertical channel is considered numerically. The problem solved by finite volume method for thick walled, two-regional which has constant and uniform outside wall temperatures. effects thermal conduction as well force on heat transfer are discussed detail. Results presented Prandtl number 0.7, solid-to-fluid conductivity ratios 1 ≤ k* < ∞, thickness-to-channel length 0 l* 5, Reynolds numbers 200 Re 1000, various Grashof numbers. critical parameter (Gr/Re), above reversal occurs, increases linearly increasing l*/k*, while it independent number.
