摘要: Knowledge Organization (KO) is about activities such as document description, indexing and classification performed in libraries, databases, archives etc. These are done by librarians, archivists, subject specialists well computer algorithms. KO a field of study concerned with the nature quality knowledge organizing processes (KOP) systems (KOS) used to organize documents, representations concepts. There exist different historical theoretical approaches theories KO, which related views knowledge, cognition, language, social organization. Each these tends answer question: "What organization?" differently. LIS professionals have often concentrated on applying new technology standards, may not seen their work involving interpretation analysis meaning. That why library has been criticized for lack substantive intellectual content. Traditional human-based increasingly challenged computer-based retrieval techniques. It appropriate investigate relative contributions approaches; current challenges make it imperative reconsider this understanding. This paper offers an understanding based explicit theory knowledge.
