摘要: Tetanus is a disease caused by the exotoxin, tetanospasmin, produced germination and proliferation of anaerobic organism Clostridium tetani. This ubiquitous occurs as spores in organic material particularly soil feces various animals man. Tetanospasmin has predilection for neural tissue forms an irreversible bond to synaptosomes both spinal cord central nervous system. The toxin ascends intra-axonally motor autonomic nerve fibers although small amount may reach brain via circulation. exact site action tetanospasmin not been elucidated, but evidence suggests that predominant inhibitory neurones. Here, major effect result from its influence on release neurotransmitters GABA glycine which allow inhibited stimuli
