摘要: Community-based organizations (CBOs) are important stakeholders in health systems and increasingly called upon to use research evidence inform their advocacy, program planning, service delivery efforts. CBOs turn community-based (CBR) given its participatory focus emphasis on linking action. In order further facilitate the of by CBOs, we have developed a strategy for knowledge transfer exchange (KTE) that helps more effectively link We by: outlining primary characteristics why they systems; describing concepts methods CBR KTE; comparing efforts action those discussed KTE literature; using comparison develop framework builds both strengths existing frameworks. find is particularly effective at fostering climate producing relevant through community participation. However, not always as engaged activities larger scale or evaluate these Therefore, our focuses on: an expanded model 'linkage exchange' (i.e., producers users researchers engaging process asking answering questions together); greater disseminating systematic reviews address topics interest CBOs; developing large-scale consisting 'push' 'pull' highlight actionable messages from user-friendly way; rigorous evaluations Through this type strategy, CBO can be better facilitated continually refined ongoing impact.
