摘要: Background: The outcomes and initial results of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy were evaluated. Methods: A prospective study the 10 patients who underwent (LSG) was performed. Study endpoints included operative time, complication rates, hospital length stay percentage excess weight loss (%EWL). Results: There 5 women men, with mean age 43 years (range 31 to 52). Mean preoperative 182 kg 125-247 kg), BMI 64 61-80). Indication for LSG related in all patients. 1 patient had previous restrictive bariatric surgery. time 2 hours 1.5-2.5). No required conversion. no postoperative complications nor mortality. Median 7.2 days. Average %EWL at year 51% 23 kg/m2, respectively. Conclusion: can be safely integrated into a surgical program good terms quality life. firststage procedure before gastric bypass or duodenal switch one-stage if longterm are good. should considered as option field.
