摘要: What do the parents of tomorrow know about child care? This study aimed to obtain a baseline measurement care knowledge, ascertain any differences in knowledge between adolescents with and without mild moderate learning difficulties (MLD). In addition, we were interested establish effect school nurse health education input on subgroup. Assessment was by self-completed questionnaire interview random sample 14–16 year olds attending mainstream special schools. Sixty pupils from secondary 33 MLD took part study. Pupil basic parenting dependent type attended, reading ability those provision nurse. No associations found their gender, family position or size. Pupils both schools scored lower areas service organisation personnel, promotion management common childhood conditions. Adolescents have insufficient services available for new parents.
