摘要: Opioid addiction is a public health crisis that affects all areas of medicine. Large numbers the population across racial and economic demographics misuse prescription opioids use illicit opioids. The current understanding opioid disease requires treatment, not an issue choice or character. Use medication necessary part postoperative analgesia, but many physicians are unsure how to do this safely given risk patients developing disorder. This review gives update state crisis, explains surgeons' prescribing practices contributing it, recommendations on in perioperative period.
