摘要: The Arbuzov reaction of cotton fabric containing the haloacetamidomethyl groups Cell-OCH2NHCOCH 2X (X=I, Br, Cl) has been studied systematically to prepare new cellulose phosphonate ester derivatives. Comparison flame-retardant properties derivatives with those a deposited polymer related structure showed that phosphorus is more efficient in form derivative. Problems generally associated fabrics finishes, notably stiffness, were also minimized case derivative formation. Laundering durability was excellent.Further studies on synergistic effect nitrogen flame retardant confirmed earlier results and sheeting an N/P ratio 3 at 2% P, 6 1.4% about 12 0.9% P passed vertical test.
