摘要: Ion Exclusion Chromatography is classically used for the separation of weak acid anions. Dilute strong acids (e.g. sulphuric or perchloric acid) just water are as eluents. To increase exclusion effect, cation exchangers, characterized by high concentration functional groups, applied. The inner column volume commercially available columns increased increasing their size in comparison to traditional ones (usually 300×7.8 mm ID). description retention mechanism this technique implicitly assumes that both mobile and stationary phases typical aqueous solutions, dielectric constants thus equal. This equality implies solute dissociation phases. Another implicit assumption dead- volumes constant, independent phase composition. present paper shows generally different physicochemical parameters. Finally briefly describe Electrostatic Chromatography.
