A Tight Estimate of Job Completion Time in Vehicular Clouds

摘要: Inspired by the success of conventional cloud services and reality present-day vehicles endowed with powerful on-board computers that can act as servers in a datacenter, researchers have recently introduced concept vehicular . Our main contribution is to offer tight theoretical analysis expected job completion time clouds characterized short residency times, under redundancy-based assignment strategy. We also discuss various approximations time. A comprehensive set simulations confirmed accuracy our predictions.
