摘要: The authors report data on the genetic distribution of thalassaemia and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency in populations certain Sardinian villages, many which are not only great antiquity but have maintained isolation for very long periods therefore possess following three requirements suitability investigation possible interrelationships among malaria, G-6-PD deficiency: a reasonable degree ethnic homogeneity, availability reliable demographic data, malaria-free adequate size background similar to those malarial populations.Investigations including more than 6000 observations 52 villages demonstrated positive correlation between incidences deficiency. It is suggested that genotype carries and/or enzyme may high adaptive value environment. It concluded there need further investigate human structure biological fitness principal combinations both existing environments will result from continued cultural evolution.
