摘要: Powders of roller quenched (Sr,Ba)O-Al2O3-2SiO2 glasses various compositions were uniaxially pressed into bars and hot isostatically at 1350 C for 4 hours or cold sintered different temperatures between 800 to 1500 10 20 hours. Densities, flexural strengths, linear thermal expansion measured three compositions. The glass transition crystallization determined by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). liquidus temperature from the melt using high Thermal Analysis (DTA). Crystalline phases formed on heat treatment identified powder X ray diffraction. In Sr containing glasses, monoclinic celsian phase always crystallized above 1000 C. At lower temperatures, hexagonal analog formed. orthorhombic structural transformation increased monotonically with SrO content, 327 BaO-Al2O3-2SiO2 758 SrO-Al2O3-2SiO2. These powders can be almost full densities a relatively low 1100 9 refs.
