1-Butyl-3-methylimidazolium Tetrafluoroborate ([BMIM]BF 4 ): An Efficient Ionic Liquid Medium for the Synthesis of Novel 2-(Oxazolo[5,4- b ]pyridin-2-yl)- N -phenylbenzamides

摘要: A series of novel 2-(oxazolo[5,4-b]pyridin-2-yl)-N-phenylbenzamide derivatives have been prepared by one-pot three-component synthesis using 2-aminopyridin-3-ol, dimethyl phthalate, and anilines in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([BMIM]BF4) at 80–85°C for 90–120 min. This method offers remarkable advantages good yields, straightforward protocol, environmental friendliness, short reaction times, mild conditions. The need catalysts solvents is avoided a catalytically active ionic liquid as medium.
